Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) — College of Health and Life Sciences in Doha, Qatar seeks an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in Biopsychology & Neuroscience. The appointment is full-time and tenure-track, combining research, teaching, and institutional service.

The role requires building a strong research program, teaching graduate courses, mentoring students, and contributing to governance and university committees, with a start in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.

Qualifications

• PhD in biopsychology, neuroscience, or related field; MD in Psychiatry with research experience considered.
• Full-time university teaching and/or research experience, or equivalent industry/research background.
• Strong publication record with significant contributions to the discipline.
• Evidence of professional maturity and increasing research productivity.

Responsabilités

• Conduct high-caliber, original research and publish in peer-reviewed venues.
• Teach graduate-level courses in biopsychology or neuroscience.
• Supervise and mentor graduate research students.
• Lead research initiatives aligned with college and university strategy.
• Participate in college administrative duties and strategic planning.
• Serve on university committees and engage in professional service.
