The Role
- Review project documents related to ICT and Telecoms, including security systems and audio-visual systems, covering installation, testing, commissioning, and method statements/procedures as per project specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify the installation of ICT and Telecoms services, ensuring they meet operational requirements and support testing, commissioning, and digitalization processes.
- Support the development and updating of operating procedures for hardware, networks, and operating systems.
- Perform non-routine operations involving data processing, peripherals, communications, and networking equipment.
- Carry out routine monitoring, logging, and reporting tasks under supervision, reporting issues and exceptional events to the Lead, and following administrative procedures.
- Utilize management system software and analysis tools to collect statistics and generate reports as needed.
- Perform routine configuration, installation, and reconfiguration of ICT/Telecommunication hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support during maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and configurations.
- Respond to instructions or follow plans to install or remove ICT/Telecommunication hardware and software, ensuring proper operation.
- Gather information to resolve incidents and allocate them appropriately following established procedures.

Qualifications
- High Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Knowledge and/or Experience
- Minimum 5 years of Telecoms experience, ideally within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficiency in ICT core skills, applications, tools, and techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant national and international standards.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in support environments.
