Qatar Airways is seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Technical Stores Supervisor to oversee the Tools Store operations within the Engineering Division in Doha. The role requires ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient handling of aircraft tools, equipment, and technical materials in line with Qatar Airways, QCAA, EASA, and international aviation standards. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Store Keepers and ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are handled in compliance with QCAA, EASA, and Qatar Airways regulations.
- Oversee daily activities including receiving, dispatch, binning, picking, and delivery of tools to support aircraft maintenance and workshops.
- Maintain traceability, segregation, and serviceability status of stored items through accurate documentation and labeling.
- Ensure FIFO, shelf‑life control, and safe storage of ESDS, cylinders, wheels, and hazardous goods.
- Coordinate effectively with maintenance teams to meet operational priorities without delay.
- Liaise with concerned departments to handle returned serviceable/unserviceable tools, discrepancies, and audit requirements.
- Optimize storage utilization and continuously improve operational procedures.
- Participate in Quality, Finance, and HSE audits to ensure full compliance and timely resolution of findings.
Ideal Profile
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in technical stores or aviation logistics.
- Familiar with EASA, FAA, and QCAA regulations and quality standards.
- Knowledge of computerized inventory control systems and documentation requirements.
- Strong understanding of ATA chapters, vendor manuals, and technical publications related to aircraft tools and spares.
- Familiar with dangerous goods handling and segregation procedures.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and supervisory skills.
- Driving license for material handling equipment is an advantage.
