A leading engineering company in Doha is seeking an experienced Technical & Estimation Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) to join their team. Candidates should have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Qatar, valid NOC, and UPDA/MMUP certification. The role involves tender evaluation, proposal preparation, supplier negotiation, and project opportunity identification. Immediate availability is required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience within Qatar.
  • Must be available in Qatar with valid NOC.
  • UPDA/MMUP Certification is mandatory.
  • Must be ready to join immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Scrutinizing and evaluating tender documents, drawings, and schedules.
  • Preparing technical and commercial proposals.
  • Floating enquiries to suppliers/manufacturers and performing comparison studies.
  • Negotiating with suppliers on technical and commercial aspects.
  • Conducting value engineering based on client budget constraints.
  • Quantity take-offs and preparing Bills of Quantities for tender submissions.
  • Pricing for Electrical / Mechanical / Plumbing systems.
  • Preparing contract documents and subcontract agreements.
  • Negotiating and finalizing contracts with clients/subcontractors.
  • Identifying and pursuing new project opportunities.

Job Title: Technical & Estimation Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical)

Location: Doha, Qatar

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Technical & Estimation Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate must have experience in Qatar, a valid NOC, and be UPDA/MMUP certified.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scrutinizing and evaluating tender documents, drawings, and schedules.
  • Preparing technical and commercial proposals.
  • Floating enquiries to suppliers/manufacturers and performing comparison studies.
