Job summary

A leading technical services company in Qatar is seeking a Tech Foreman specialized in Pipelay and Cable lay operations. The ideal candidate must possess a Diving Supervisor certification and OPITO approved qualifications for offshore work. Applicants should have over 10 years of offshore diving experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role on DP2 DSV or CSV vessels. This role demands a thorough understanding of subsea installation techniques and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Diving Supervisor certification from the IMCA or equivalent.
• OPITO approved BOSIET and Medical for offshore assignment.
• Broad knowledge on execution methods and risks in offshore modifications.
• Up to date knowledge on industry subsea installation and repair techniques.
• Good experience with Cable / Umbilical lay installation from DP2 DSV / CSV.
• Broad knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with offshore greenfield and brownfield modifications and working within a gas production facility.

Knowledge and/or Experience

• Minimum 10 years experience in offshore commercial diving (Saturation & Air Diving) and ROV operation, of which at least 5 years as technical foreman / shift supervisor onboard DP2 DSV / CSV.
• Broad knowledge on international ROV and diving standards and regulations.
• Up to date knowledge on industry subsea installation and repair techniques.
• Good experience with Cable / Umbilical lay installation from DP2 DSV / CSV
• Broad knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with offshore greenfield and brownfield modifications and working within a gas production facility.
