Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services in Qatar seeks an experienced Piping Engineering professional to lead piping scope for complex onshore LNG facilities. You will oversee design execution, review standards, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure safe, compliant and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in piping engineering within Oil & Gas, includes supervisory or contractor oversight, with LNG project familiarity and broad electrical systems experience (40MW+).

Qualifications

• 8 years experience in Piping Engineering roles, including 4 years in Oil & Gas and 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Preferable LNG Project experience.
• Broad knowledge of engineering execution: design standards, specs, codes, safety criteria, and LNG facilities.
• Experience with HV/MV/LV electrical systems, transformers, switchgear, power management and large motors (40MW+).

Preferable experience in a major LNG Project.

Broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, onshore LNG facilities and utility systems design, construction and operations.

Requires demonstrated broad Electrical equipment and systems experience (HV/MV/LV electrical systems design, transformers, switchgear, power management systems, electrical system controls for reactive and active power sharing, power distribution control, large Motors, 40MW+) and familiarity with relevant manufacturing processes and relevant industry codes.

High voltage and large-scale onshore power design requirements.
