We are looking for a reliable, accurate, detail-oriented surveyor to join our team in Doha. The surveyor will work to collect, measure and analyze data in order to prepare surveys and plans used for construction projects. This position is a great opportunity for someone who has an eye for detail and an interest in civil engineering or urban planning. This role comes with a salary of 1400 per month. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate surveys and related plans for construction projects in Doha. This includes performing research on land boundaries; analyzing maps; measuring land features; collecting data from aerial photographs; conducting fieldwork measurements; producing charts and tables; creating digital documents; submitting reports on findings; maintaining records of surveys conducted; working closely with teams across departments such as architectural services or municipal planning departments; providing advice on development applications or other relevant issues as required by the team leader.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2-3 years' experience as a surveyor but we are also open to considering applications from those without experience who can demonstrate the necessary qualifications and skills: knowledge of surveying principles, methods and techniques; strong mathematical skills; ability to read maps, interpret aerial photographs & planimetric drawings; excellent problem-solving abilities; good organizational skills & attention to detail' proficiency in using surveying instruments such as total stations & GPS receivers; familiarity with AutoCAD software programs & 3D modelling packages is desirable but not essential.
