Job summary

JobLeader in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our team. You will conduct surveys, collect data, and prepare drawings using AutoCAD to support project delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Surveying, at least 3 years' experience in land surveying/geomatics, strong English communication skills, and knowledge of total stations and GPS. Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

Surveyor - Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an experienced Surveyor to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out surveying activities and providing accurate data to ensure the smooth running of projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys, compile data and analyze results.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as total stations, GPS systems and other survey instrumentation.
• Prepare survey drawings and plans using AutoCAD software.
• Document project progress by completing daily reports and recording measurements.
• Measure surface contours and elevations to ensure accuracy of project designs.
• Assist with other duties such as mapping boundaries, preparing topographical maps and monitoring construction sites for compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare technical reports on survey findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or related field.
• Professional certification is desirable but not essential.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD software programs for creating plans and drawings is essential.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on land surveying/geomatics are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English required; Arabic language skills would be advantageous but not essential.
