Job summary

Swan Global seeks a Structural Draftsman with AutoCAD expertise to support an Oil & Gas pipeline project in Ras Laffan Industrial City. The role focuses on preparing lifting plans (critical and standard) and structural drawings for heavy lifting operations on site.

Qualifications include a Diploma/ITI in Civil/Mechanical/Structural Drafting and 45 years of drafting experience preferred. Knowledge of BS, ASME, OSHA is a plus; strong detail and coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Drafting; engineering background preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; good communication and coordination.
• Experience with AutoCAD and lifting plans; rigging knowledge and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lifting plans (Critical and Standard) and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
• Interpret sketches, load charts, and lifting procedures to produce accurate drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specs, safety standards, and rigging requirements.
• Revise drawings based on engineering feedback and site conditions.
• Collaborate with engineers, lifting supervisors, and site teams for lifting activities.
• Maintain documentation of all lifting-related drawings and revisions.
