Job summary

SYSTRA in Doha is seeking a Strategy and Performance expert to drive the development and monitoring of annual Business Plans across divisions. You will identify strategic opportunities, conduct financial analyses and prepare senior management presentations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business/economics/finance and more than five years of experience, including management consulting or strategy planning in a leading organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of overall experience, including at least 2 years in management consulting or 5 years in a strategy/corporate planning function within a leading organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and monitor annual Business and operational plans.
• Identify strategic issues and opportunities impacting short- and long-term goals.
• Analyze market research, cost-benefit analyses and financial models.
• Keep abreast of transport and mobility trends affecting corporate strategy.
• Support strategic corporate initiatives and prepare senior management presentations.
• Establish performance reporting framework and monitor targets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, yearly and ad hoc performance reports.

Strategy and Performance expert

Missions/Main Duties

Assist in the development of annual Business Plan and to monitor and report on the Business Plan implementation across divisions and departments, while providing recommendations to close identified gaps. To continuously assess, develop, recommend and implement improvement opportunities to optimize organizational performance. To support the Strategy team in the development and implementation of adhoc strategic initiatives.

Strategic

• Development, execution and monitoring annual Business and operational plans
• Identify key opportunities and strategic issues impacting short- and long-term goals
• Evaluate opportunities including the development of business cases which may include market research and analysis, cost-benefit analysis and financial modelling
• Keep abreast of transportation and mobility developments worldwide and identify future trends that may impact corporate strategy
• Identify opportunities to institutionalize and improve the strategic planning process throughout the organization
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategic corporate initiatives
• Preparation of Senior Management presentations

Operational

• Establish and maintain an accurate and consistent performance reporting framework and monitor organizational performance against approved targets.
• Evaluate the execution of Business Plans, KPIs, initiatives, and milestones against agreed targets.
• Conduct performance reviews and root-cause analyses with relevant departments and oversee the implementation of corrective actions and improvement initiatives to drive corporate performance improvement.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, yearly and adhoc performance reports for leadership
• Run adhoc analysis, summarise findings and prepare output presentations when required

The job holder is accountable for defining, developing, monitoring and reporting strategic objectives and goals and to optimise organizational performance through continuous assessment, development and implementation of improvement opportunities

Profile/Skills

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

• More than 5 years of overall experience, including at least 2 years in management consulting or 5 years in a strategy/corporate planning function within a leading organization.
