Job summary

Saatchi & Saatchi Qatar is seeking a senior communications professional to deliver strategic PR programs and manage day-to-day client relationships. You will translate strategies into actionable plans, oversee quality outputs and coordinate across teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong bilingual communication in Arabic and English, plus solid experience in Qatar/GCC media and crisis support. A Bachelor’s in Communications or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications or strategic communications, preferably with experience in Qatar and/or the GCC.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English is a must.
• Strong experience managing day-to-day client relationships and delivering communications programmes across multiple workstreams.
• Good understanding of the Qatar and regional media, stakeholder and communications landscape.
• Strong writing, editing, research and presentation skills, with experience developing a range of corporate and media communications materials.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day client communications, priorities, timelines and deliverables, escalating strategic or sensitive matters to the Account Director.
• Support the development and implementation of integrated communications programmes aligned with agreed client objectives and strategies.
• Develop high-quality communications materials, including press releases, speeches, key messaging, Q&As, briefing documents, executive content and stakeholder materials.
• Coordinate media relations and stakeholder engagement activities, maintaining strong knowledge of the relevant media and communications landscape.
• Monitor media, stakeholder and industry developments and identify issues, opportunities or emerging risks for escalation.
• Support issues and crisis communications through monitoring, research, messaging development and coordination under the direction of senior team members.
• Manage account workflows and junior team members, ensuring deadlines, quality standards and client expectations are consistently met.
• Contribute ideas and insights to communications strategies, campaigns, proposals and new business pitches.
• Remain agile and solutions-focused, adapting delivery priorities as client and business needs change.
