Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG is seeking an experienced IT Strategy and Procurement lead to align IT initiatives with business strategies and enterprise transformation goals. The role oversees contractual obligations, financial controls, and supplier performance within the oil & gas IT landscape.

You will support IT Strategy, Business Planning, Benchmarking, Finance and Procurement activities, and ensure adherence to policies and standards across a complex portfolio of over 220 service contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, or bachelor’s degree any business discipline.
• 8 years IT experience within oil & gas industry with specific experience establishing IT Systems and Applications.
• Good working experience within Finance and Supply management solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and align IT strategy towards business strategies and enterprise transformation activities.
• Communicate objectives, monitor progress, and ensure delivery of strategic objectives.
• Monitor IT expenditure, forecast variances, and enforce financial targets with reports to stakeholders.
• Develop and implement financial controls and decision-making processes for the IT department.
• Oversee suppliers’ contractual obligations and ensure compliance with terms.
