Job summary

People Dynamics in Qatar seeks a Director of Information Technology (CIO) to lead IT strategy, governance, and service delivery across the institution. The role reports to the Vice-President for Administration & Finance and partners with leadership to align technology with strategic goals.

The CIO will oversee IT operations, security, infrastructure, and policy development, manage a diverse team, and drive innovations to improve user experience and organizational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of IT experience.
• Arabic and English language fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT strategy and planning in alignment with the Council.
• Oversee deployment, maintenance and upgrades of IT systems.
• Manage IT staff and contractors from hiring to evaluation.
• Manage security, infrastructure, and telecom projects.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and documentation.
• Ensure training and knowledge sharing across IT teams.
• Communicate with management and end users regularly.
• Oversee IT service delivery and help desk.
• Drive innovation and improve user effectiveness.
• Oversee budgeting, purchasing and contract negotiations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
