Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior Cost Controller for a long-term assignment in Qatar. The role focuses on managing man-hour, cost, and project schedule targets within FEED, Pre-FEED, Brownfield, and Greenfield scopes.

You will execute project work per the project execution plan and Wood procedures, ensuring safety and quality control. The position requires extensive experience in cost control, budget development, and cost forecasting, with the ability to liaise with procurement, finance, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent gained through vocational training/industry experience).
• Must have at least 15 years' experience.
• Strong understanding of project cost management principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of Project WBS and CBS for specific scopes.
• Assist in the development of project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Liaise with procurement, finance and time-capture functions to support accurate cost data and allocations.
• Monitor cost commitments and expenditures through all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Provide input to project cost performance reports and forecasts.
