Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Contracts Officer in Doha, Qatar to coordinate contract reviews and ensure compliance with QR standards and company policies. The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, drafting contracts, and maintaining contract templates and vendor records.

Minimum 3 years of related experience and a law degree are preferred, with strong English communication skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of job-related experience.
• Bachelor of Law - LLB.
• Experience in a multinational environment preferably in an airline/travel/retail/hospitality business.
• Strong communications skills - fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Computer literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Ability to manage office workflow, strong attention to detail and organized in managing contracts and document control.
• Good knowledge of corporate policies pertaining to Contracts and Agreements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead the review process to guarantee contracts are circulated and finalized promptly.
• Monitor and identify potential issues within contracts, inform line manager, and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with QR standards and company policies.
• Collaborate across departments with internal and external stakeholders for input, negotiations and advice.
• Provide updates to Contracts Manager on contract performance.
• Maintain a database of contract statuses with latest information and metrics.
• Manage vendor creation in QCAS for new suppliers and coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
• Raise Q-CAS requests as per management instructions.
• Draft contracts as requested by the Contracts Manager or Legal Department.
• Highlight deviations from group policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide client/partner support to ensure smooth information flow between stakeholders.
• Maintain a register for templates and standard terms and conditions.
• Propose standardization of terms for various contracts and business models.
• Perform other department duties as directed by the Head of the Department.
