Job summary

QatarEnergy seeks an experienced project management professional to oversee capital projects from inception to handover in the oil and gas sector. The role involves coordinating with engineering disciplines, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery in line with specifications.

The ideal candidate has at least 12 years of experience in engineering and project execution, strong communication, and the ability to manage complex FEED and EPIC phases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years' experience in engineering, project management and execution of oil & gas projects.
• Experience coordinating with multiple discipline engineers during feasibility, FEED and EPIC.
• Strong communication and meeting management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete project management for assigned capital projects from inception to handover.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, in a safe manner and in accordance with project requirements and standards.

Primary Purpose Of The Job Provide complete project management services for all assigned capital projects assigned and covering all aspects of projects from inception to commissioning and handover.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget in a safe manner and in accordance with project requirements, specifications, and standards.

Required Experience And Skills

• A minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience in engineering, project management and execution of oil & gas projects.
• Experienced in engineering coordination with various discipline Engineers during Feasibility and Concept Optimization Studies, FEED and EPIC.
• Effective communication and team building skills including presentation, report writing and management of meetings.

Educational Qualifications

• B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University; higher degree would be advantageous.
• Membership in a recognized professional engineering/project management association/institution will be an added advantage.
