Job description

Primary Purpose Of The Job

Plan, supervise and manage all Electrical/Instrument maintenance/preventive and refurbishment works. Provides professional technical input and specialist support in all aspects Electrical/Instrument engineering to Head, Maintenance Engineer. Conduct feasibility/technical studies of maintenance works and prepare SOW/BOQ for tenders. Supervise Contractors and timely execution of services in compliance with relevant QatarEnergy procedures/HSE guidelines/standards/Qatar Civil Defence requirements. Supervise subordinates and contractor workforces to achieve FM Facilities Maintenance targets, strategies and objectives for efficient maintenance services delivery for end user’s satisfaction.

Required Experience And Skills
  • Minimum of 7 years in electrical and/or Instrumentation maintenance work out of which at least 5 years in a Senior position as Electrical Engineer dealing with costs, budgets and contracts and familiar with preparation of tender specifications, associated standards pertaining to local and international regulations. Experience of construction/maintenance works in GCC/Qatar and familiarity with works in oil and gas sector is desirable.
  • A good knowledge of Contract preparation/execution and management.
  • A good knowledge of international standards.
Educational Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College/University in Electrical or Instrument Engineering with good communication and computer skills.
