Job summary

A leading energy company in Doha is seeking an experienced professional to develop and maintain project-based economic models for evaluating risks and profitability in Oil & Gas opportunities. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or economics and have at least 8 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.

Overview

Primary Purpose Of The Job: Develop and maintain project based economic models and specific role-based models for evaluating risks and profitability for all new Oil & Gas opportunities.

Required Experience And Skills

• Minimum 8 years' work experience in various disciplines related to the Oil & Gas industry. With expertise in one or more of economics modelling, project economics evaluation, optimization modelling, feasibility study appraisal.
• Requires strong organisational, analytical and communication skills. Ability to manage inter-department relationships as well as senior management/ partners' executive relationships.
• Excellent problem solving, financial, economic skills as well as ability to work in multi-cultural environment. Excellent oral/written communication skills in English are required. Arabic is a plus.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in an appropriate engineering or economic discipline from a recognized university.
• Related postgraduate qualification (MSc. or MBA) or experience is advantageous.
