A leading energy company in Qatar is looking for a skilled laboratory technician to manage testing of hydrocarbon and wastewater samples. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in an Oil and Gas laboratory and a B.Sc. in Chemistry. Proficiency in English and laboratory software applications is essential for timely reporting and compliance with international standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience of 5 years in Oil and Gas laboratory.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work with different laboratory software applications (LIMS, RIS etc.) and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage testing of hydrocarbon samples, water, and wastewater.
• Issue test reports and COQs for refinery products.

Skills

Job description

Primary Purpose Of The Job

To efficiently organize and manage testing of routine and non-routine hydrocarbon samples(gas), water and wastewater samples received from various process units of the refinery, timely issuance of test reports and issue of COQs for the refinery products.

Required Experience And Skills

• Minimum experience of 5 years in Oil and Gas laboratory.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Computer literate and ability to work with different laboratory software applications (LIMS, RIS etc.) and SAP for materials and maintenance management
• Sound knowledge of applicable International Standards applicable in Refinery testing laboratory.
• Good knowledge of IMS requirements.

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum B.Sc. in Chemistry.
