Job summary

QatarEnergy is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee Treasury Back Office operations and reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in finance within a medium to large organization, preferably in the oil and gas sector. Key responsibilities include managing settlements and acting as the primary liaison for audits. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience with ERP systems are required.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Previous experience in the oil and gas industry preferred.
• Understanding of computerized business systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage Treasury Back Office operations and secure payments/settlements.

Job description

Primary Purpose Of The Job

Primarily responsible for the overall Treasury Back Office Operations, Treasury Reporting/Accounting and secure payments/settlements of Treasury financings/deals for Group 1 of the companies. In addition, also act as a primary focal point for Internal Audit, External Audit, State Bureau Audit for Group 1 companies.

Required Experience And Skills

• At least 10-15 years of experience in medium to large organization with adequate exposure to accounting & finance functions. Previous experience in similar capacity in an oil and gas industry would be an advantage
• Knowledge of systems in a computerized business environment which includes knowledge and experience in MS PowerBI, MS Office packages, SAP TRM or similar advanced ERP systems.
• Excellent people management, leadership, and coaching skills.

Bachelors in Finance/Commerce / Business / Accounting and/or globally accepted professional qualifications like a Certified Public Accountant / Chartered Accountant / Cost & Management Accountant etc
