Overview

The Royal Grammar School Guildford, Qatar (RGSGQ) seeks an experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator to lead and develop our provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The school is an all-through, co-educational British school offering a curriculum for children aged 3 to 18. It opened in 2016 and welcomes over 780 students. The campus is located near the Pearl and Lusail. The school follows the English Early Years Foundation Stage, the National Curriculum (Key Stages 1–4), IGCSE courses, and AS levels at Post-16. RGSGQ has strong links with RGS Guildford in the UK and international sister schools.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the identification, assessment, and support of students with SEND across all phases of the school.
  • Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs), oversee targeted interventions, and ensure appropriate accommodations are in place.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, parents, and external specialists to foster an inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
