Job Description
- Be responsible for spa treatment consultations and identification of possible contraindications.
- Perform beauty therapy treatments, massage, body therapy, and specialized treatments for members and guests to the required standard. Provide guests with home-care well-being programs.
- Offer after-care advice to members and guests.
- Achieve retail sales targets.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in treatment rooms and back-of-house areas.
- Ensure all equipment is serviced as part of a preventative maintenance program.
- Conduct spa tours and consultations, giving personalized advice and promoting facilities, treatments, and products.
- Assist during spa promotions and events.
- Support marketing and public relations efforts.
- Have comprehensive knowledge of all services and products offered.
- Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards as directed by law and spa policies.
- Perform prep work, cleaning, and restocking of treatment rooms as required.
- Actively promote spa treatments, services, retail products, and special programs or discounts.
- Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate and immediate responses to guest requests.
- Work independently without direct supervision.
- Assist in all areas of spa operations as directed by management.
- Report any incidents involving staff or guests to management.
- Maintain accurate records of visits, treatments, and purchases.
- Record stock control information accurately, in accordance with senior therapist guidelines.
- Manage treatment laundry, stock inventory, and security.
- Report and rectify potential hazards immediately.
- Ensure staff work in a manner that minimizes risk of harm or injury.
Qualifications
- Arabic speaking is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a 5-star or luxury hotel spa.
- Valid license to practice therapy from an internationally recognized institution.
- Knowledge of various therapeutic techniques for face and body.
- Essential knowledge of Hammam, manicure, and pedicure treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and build strong professional relationships.
