Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and installation methods.
• Proficient with hand tools such as saws, chisels, and drills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine materials and dimensions needed for each project.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications.
• Cut shape and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows frames, floorings, trimmings, doors etc.
• Inspect wooden structures for damages or defects and make necessary repairs or replacements.
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting or waterproofing structures.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time.
