  1. Site Management:
  • Oversee daily operations at the construction site, ensuring that the project is progressing according to plans.
  • Monitor construction activities, coordinating the workforce and materials to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
  1. Safety Management:
  • Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure compliance with OSHA standards or local regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and report any potential hazards or risks.
  • Implement safety protocols and procedures, ensuring that all team members adhere to them.
  1. Supervision of Workers:
  • Supervise, guide, and motivate on-site workers, including laborers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Assign tasks and monitor the quality of the work being performed.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues between workers to maintain a productive work environment.
  1. Quality Control:
  • Ensure that work is being completed to the required standards, following blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Inspect the quality of construction work at different stages of the project.
  • Work with engineers or project managers to rectify any construction-related issues.
  1. Material and Equipment Management:
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor stock levels and request materials as needed to avoid project delays.
  • Oversee the use of equipment to ensure that they are properly maintained and used safely.
  1. Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any incidents or accidents.
  • Provide regular reports to the project manager or senior supervisor about the project’s progress.
  • Complete daily logs, time sheets, and material usage reports.
  1. Coordination with Stakeholders:
  • Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure proper communication.
