Job summary

Care n Cure Groups in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a Civil Engineer to supervise bridge construction activities and ensure compliance with drawings and standards. The role involves coordinating with contractors, consultants, surveyors, and lab teams to deliver safe, quality-based outcomes.

The candidate should hold a B.Tech in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2 years' bridge experience and be able to manage site progress, measurements, and documentation effectively.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in bridge projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day execution of bridge foundations, piers, abutments, and superstructure works.
• Monitor concreting, shuttering, reinforcement, piling, and other civil construction activities.
• Ensure construction activities follow approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, surveyors, laboratory teams, and other site personnel.
• Verify site measurements, quantities, BOQ items, and work completed by contractors.
• Monitor material usage, workmanship, quality standards and construction progress.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and project quality requirements.
• Review drawings and coordinate with the project team to resolve site-level technical issues.
• Track daily work progress and prepare daily site reports and relevant documentation.
• Monitor project schedules and support timely completion of assigned works.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality checks with consultants and laboratory teams.
• Identify site issues, delays, and deviations and report them to the Project Manager/concerned authority.
• Maintain proper records of measurements, drawings, inspection reports, and other site documents.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
