Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services in Qatar is seeking SHES Specialists to support onshore EPC SHES plans and procedures under NFXP Onshore projects. You will assist the SHES Lead, coordinate with CONTRACTOR and SUBCONTRACTOR SHES teams, and help ensure compliance with project SHES plans.

The role requires SHES qualifications such as NEBOSH IGC or equivalent, a NEBOSH certificate, potential lead auditor certification, and 5-8 years of relevant HSE experience.

Qualifications

• Provides on-site support to ensure SHES plans and procedures are implemented and verified.
• Collaborates with CONTRACTOR and SUBCONTRACTOR SHES groups to ensure compliance with SHES plans.
• Supports SHES activities with oversight to ensure project requirements are met.
• Possesses SHES qualification such as NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent experience.
• Holds NEBOSH IGC or equivalent and SHES Lead Auditor certification where applicable.
• Has 5-8 years of relevant industry HSE experience.

About the job SHES Specialists (EPC-3/4 / BOP)

JD Highlights:

• Supports the SHES Lead in the site implementation and verification of the NFXP Onshore EPC SHES Plans & Procedures, across all EPC packages.
• Supports NFXP Onshore EPC activities with oversight to the EPC CONTRACTOR and SUBCONTRACTOR(s) on site activities during project execution to ensure compliance with NFXP Onshore & RLC SHES requirements.
• Helps ensure that the NFXP Onshore SHES requirements are planned, implemented, verified and that where necessary, improvement opportunities are discussed and executed.
• Liaises with CONTRACTOR and SUBCONTRACTOR(s) SHES groups to ensure all site activities relevant to the scope of work of the assigned area are in full compliance with Project SHES Plans & Procedures.
• SHES related qualification such as a NEBOSH Certificate; or 10 years experience in lieu of qualification.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent.
• SHES related Lead Auditor certification.
• 5-8 years relevant industry HSE experience.
