Job summary

Jing Hau in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced Welder to join its team. The candidate must have at least five years of welding experience and be proficient in MIG, TIG and Arc welding.

You will read technical drawings to determine welding requirements, inspect welds for accuracy, fabricate/repair metal structures, and operate tools while strictly following safety regulations. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of welding experience.
• Proven experience with MIG, TIG and Arc welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience fabricating and repairing metal structures.
• Thorough understanding of welding principles and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of welding duties including MIG, TIG and Arc Welding.
• Read blueprints/technical drawings to determine welding requirements for each project.
• Inspect all completed welds for accuracy.
• Fabricate metal structures, repair broken parts, measure pieces for exact fit, operate plasma torches or other equipment, and use grinders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations at all times.
