Job summary

WSP in Doha seeks a Work Inspector to support Ashghal infrastructure projects by inspecting on-site structural works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and Ashghal requirements. You will work with the project team to uphold quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections of foundations, columns, beams, and other structural elements, reporting deviations, maintaining records, and coordinating with engineers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in structural inspection or construction supervision.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Qatar.

Responsibilities

• Inspect structural construction works on-site, including foundations, columns, and beams.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and Ashghal requirements.
• Identify deviations or non-conformities and report them promptly.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to address issues with the project team.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection activities and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve queries.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met during construction.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control plans.
• Stay updated with industry standards and best practices in structural construction.
