Primary Objectives / Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory standards, and client specifications.
• Standardize equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.
• Contribute to technical knowledge, legal compliance, and customer requirements.
• Utilize local and global standards to support technical excellence.
• Participate in checking, peer reviews, and comment incorporation processes.
• Apply recognized onshore and offshore civil structural engineering practices.
• Develop design specifications for civil structural works.
• Create detailed designs, drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports, ensuring proper checking procedures.
• Maintain accurate and current design documentation throughout the development process.
• Design and prepare civil drawings for building services, including electrification, lighting, plumbing, flooring, door/window schedules, and furniture details.

Qualifications

Industry Experience

• Experience in civil structural engineering within oil and gas, offshore and onshore projects.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary projects and teams in similar industries.
• Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering across various areas.
• Experience in civil design of structures like bridges, pumping stations, low-rise buildings, and basements.

Education & Certification

• Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• MME engineering accreditation is mandatory; candidates must be willing to obtain it if not already held.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or pursuing it is advantageous.

HSE Capability

• Maintain focus on health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards within the team.
• Demonstrate commitment to personal well-being, safe workplaces, and continuous HSE improvement.
• Identify and report hazards and incidents.

IT Skills

Proficiency in Stainproof, SAP2000, ETABS, Safe, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
