Job summary

Malomatia, a Qatar-based IT services provider, seeks an experienced Solution Architect to drive project success from conception to delivery. You will leverage deep Oracle knowledge to design scalable architectures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet client needs and industry best practices.

Responsibilities include translating requirements into technical solutions, documenting architectures across domains, and guiding development teams to ensure quality and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 18+ years of experience in solution architecture with a proven track record in multiple architectural domains.
• Mastery of multiple architectural domains: applications, integrations, data, security, cloud, infrastructure, and networking.
• Extensive experience with various architectural styles and patterns across multiple domains (e.g., Multi-Layered, N-Tier, Microservices, MVC, Hexagonal).
• Proficiency in Oracle Technologies (Java, ADF, OAF, PL/SQL, WebCenter, Weblogic, BPM Suite, Oracle Cloud, etc.).
• Strong architecture modeling experience using UML or similar tools.
• Experience documenting architecture using IEEE 1471/ISO 42010 or Views and Beyond approaches.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical initiatives.
• Design and document comprehensive enterprise architectures covering applications, integrations, data, security, cloud, infrastructure, and networking.
• Leverage Oracle technologies to craft solutions aligned with client needs and existing infrastructure.
• Guide development teams to ensure architecture implementations conform to design specifications and quality standards.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure architecture is scalable, maintainable, and extensible.
• Present architectural solutions to clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Contribute to technical proposals and RFPs.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to solution architecture, including security vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.
