Job summary

A leading construction firm in Doha is seeking an experienced professional to manage the tendering process for turnkey fit-out projects. The role involves handling tender submissions independently, ensuring accuracy of documents, and effective communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in interior fit-out work, along with a Bachelor's degree. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is essential, along with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years experience in Interior fit-out work.
  • Sound knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Good knowledge of English communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the Tendering scope independently from Tender analysis to Tender submission.
  • Analyze the Tender documents and prepare all clarifications to the Client.
  • Attend Pre-tender meetings and site visits.
  • Verify the accuracy of Tender Documents and BOQ.
  • Prepare documents for Tender Technical submission.
  • Quantity Take-off from the Drawings.
  • Communication with the project manager regarding any commercial issues.

The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of Pre-Tender and Post-Tender procedure for Turnkey Fit-out Projects and will be able to handle the Tendering scope independently from Tender analysis to Tender submission.

  • Handle the Tendering scope independently from Tender analysis to Tender submission
  • Analyze the Tender documents and prepare all clarifications to the Client
  • Attend Pre-tender meetings and site visits
  • Package wise documents segregation to send the enquiries to sub-contractors/suppliers for pricing
  • Verify the accuracy of Tender Documents and BOQ
  • Sub Con/ Supplier prices and technical specs verifications / comparisons based on Tender specs
  • Costing and priced BOQ preparation for on time Tender Submission
  • Documents preparation for Tender Technical submission
  • Preparing & updating the material list, Procurement Log for the projects
  • Quantity Take-off from the Drawings
  • Payment Application / Invoicing to the clients for Awarded projects
  • Preparing the variations with all supporting documents and attend meeting with Consultant
  • Communication with the project manager regarding any commercial issues
  • Joint measurements for final take off
  • Preparing Subcontractor payment certificate
  • Necessary Site inspections to verify the Quantities
  • Attend Project progress / technical meetings with Client & Consultant
  • Prepare response for any commercial matters
  • Updating the Bill of material based on changes
  • Preparing Project Commercial Document Log
  • Revising the BOM after clients variation approval
  • Keeping the documents in a systematic way for future reference
  • Handling multiple projects at the same time with set targets
  • Preparing the terms and conditions based on management instructions
Requirements:
