Job summary

Vodafone Qatar is seeking an experienced Media/PR Specialist to lead media relations for corporate initiatives. You will develop media plans, draft press releases, and coordinate with local, regional and international media as needed.

You will manage media inquiries, monitor coverage, and enhance Vodafone's voice across online and offline channels while preparing spokespersons for interviews. Regular reporting to the Head of Media Relations is required.

Qualifications

• 0–6 years of experience in media relations or PR.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Develop media plans for corporate projects and engage with local and regional media.
• Formulate PR plans, draft press releases, and circulate to media locally, regionally, and internationally if required.
• Coordinate talking points and interview responses with Vodafone Qatar spokespeople and key project messages.
• Manage media relations, requests/invitations, and press conferences with local, regional, and international media.
• Update the media calendar and monitor engagement activities across channels.
• Enhance Vodafone's voice online and offline and support promotional plans; coordinate spokesperson training.
• Provide weekly/monthly reports to Head of Media Relations with analytics.
