Zusammenfassung

The View Hospital in Doha is seeking an experienced physiotherapist to provide specialist assessments and holistic, goal-oriented treatment through a patient-centred model of care. You will manage a caseload with complex needs and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals.

As a key MDT member, you will promote health and wellbeing, lead service development, and support staff with training and knowledge sharing to maximize functional recovery.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma/ or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy/ or DPT Doctor of Physical Therapy (entry level) graduate.
• Current, valid home country license to practise Physiotherapy (Overseas candidates)/ Current, valid, license to practise Physiotherapy in Qatar.
• Expertise in the assessment of complex presentations as a PT and within an MDT setting.
• Expertise in the formation and implementation of goal orientated treatment plans.
• Hydrotherapy experience (desired).
• Evidence of appropriate continued professional development.
• Expertise in set up, delivery and after care of manual therapies, movement therapies, electrotherapy treatments.
• Proficiency in the administration of standardized outcome measure testing applicable to area of work.
• Knowledge of technological and robotic advances in patient treatment and evidence behind their use (desired)
• Expertise in the application of evidence based practice.
• Previous experience working in a multi -disciplinary care team

Aufgaben

• Provides specialist, holistic, physiotherapeutic assessments for inpatients and outpatients with varying complexities.
• Provides goal orientated, evidence based treatment plans with an integrated MDT.
• Provides patient and family education for management and recovery.
• Delivers in-service training and shares knowledge with non-therapy staff.
