Job summary

SylvCare for Healthcare Recruitment in Doha is seeking a senior ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in oculoplastics/orbit/lacrimal to lead complex cases within a multidisciplinary ophthalmology department.

The role requires a valid QCHP license, consultant-level qualifications, and at least 5 years of post-specialist experience. You will manage oculoplastic, orbital and lacrimal procedures, perform advanced surgeries, and ensure compliance with MOPH standards.

Qualifications

• Must have Doha-based eligibility or be willing to relocate immediately.
• Valid QCHP (MOPH Qatar) license – mandatory.
• Consultant-level qualification (FRCOphth / American Board / equivalent Tier 1).
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Oculoplastics / Orbital / Lacrimal.
• Minimum 5+ years post-specialist experience.
• Western-trained candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage oculoplastic, orbital & lacrimal cases.
• Perform advanced surgical procedures (functional + aesthetic).
• Work within a multidisciplinary ophthalmology department.
• Maintain compliance with Qatar MOPH standards & revalidation.
