Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize Data Center, cloud, and security architectures. You will manage Leaf-Spine VXLAN, EPGs, and VPCs while integrating Azure, GCP, and OCI with on-prem networks.

Responsibilities include NAC migrations to Cisco ISE, wireless services, TACACS+ configuration, and firewall management (FortiGate, Palo Alto). Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco ACI and data center networking.
• Experience with Azure, GCP, OCI, and hybrid cloud networking.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in Data Center networking, Cisco ACI, cloud connectivity, network security, and enterprise network infrastructure. The role will be responsible for implementing, administering, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex Data Center, cloud, security, and network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement advanced Data Center networks using Cisco ACI.
• Configure and support Leaf-Spine architecture, VXLAN, Endpoint Groups (EPGs), Bridge Domains, Application Profiles, Access Policies, and VPC.
• Manage and optimize cloud network connectivity across Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Integrate cloud environments with on-premises network infrastructure.
• Support network activities for large-scale cloud migrations and Azure ExpressRoute implementations.
• Administer Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, including migration from Cisco ACS to Cisco ISE.
• Deploy and manage enterprise wireless services.
• Configure and administer TACACS+ for network device authentication.
• Administer and troubleshoot network security solutions, including FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus switches, Catalyst 6500 switches, Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), and related network infrastructure.
• Apply AI, Machine Learning, and network automation tools to improve operational efficiency, monitoring, and network management.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and ensure network availability, performance, security, and reliability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a relevant field.
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive Network Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco ACI and Data Center networking.
• Strong knowledge of Leaf-Spine, VXLAN, EPGs, Bridge Domains, Application Profiles, Access Policies, and VPC.
• Experience with Azure, GCP, OCI, and hybrid cloud networking.
• Experience supporting cloud migrations and Azure ExpressRoute.
• Strong experience with Cisco ISE/NAC, ACS-to-ISE migration, wireless networking, and TACACS+.
• Hands-on experience with FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Advanced administration experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst 6500, and WLC.
• Practical knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, and automation tools within network operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
