Job summary

Swan Global in Doha, Qatar seeks two NDT professionals specialized in Phased Array and ToFD for a 2-year project. You will set up, operate, and analyze data from advanced ultrasonic equipment, ensuring integrity of high-value assets using cutting-edge inspection tech.

The role requires ISO 9712 Level II PA/ToFD certifications, 5 years total experience with 3 in PA/ToFD, and a technical degree or equivalent. Safety comes first in every task.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor's degree in NDT, Engineering, Physics or related field.
• Total 5 years experience, with minimum 3 years in Phased Array and/or ToFD post Level II certification.
• ISO 9712 Level II PA and ToFD certifications mandatory, with live component experience.
• Additional UT Level II certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced ultrasonic inspections using PAUT and ToFD per procedures.
• Develop and validate inspection procedures for complex geometries and applications.
• Operate OmniScan, TomoView and FocusPC for data acquisition and analysis.
• Analyze scan data, size and characterize flaws with precision.
• Produce high-level reports including S-scans, B-scans, C-scans and encoded plots.
• Mentor junior NDT personnel in advanced techniques.
• Calibrate and verify inspection equipment and procedures.
• Ensure safety and quality in all activities.
