Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Munitions QC Inspector to audit and monitor explosives-related processes, ensuring safety and ISO 9001 compliance across the Munitions Department. The role focuses on random inspections, training support, and coordination with PSO for standardization.

Ideal candidates will have extensive USAF munitions experience, supervisory background, and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Travel domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have seven years' experience with USAF Military Munitions or US service equivalent.
• Five years combined supervisory experience in USAF munitions activities.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.
• Proficient use of Windows and MS Office applications including Excel and Word.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform random quality inspections on munitions processes and shipments.
• Monitor practices to identify discrepancies and corrective actions.
• Review procedures and emergency checklists for currency and accuracy.
• Coordinate with other departments for standardization of processes.
• Assist in development and implementation of training programs.
