Job summary

Sisco Jobs, on behalf of our client, is hiring a Site Construction Manager for a large mechanical construction project in Qatar. The role requires overseeing day-to-day field activities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring execution to approved drawings and schedules.

15–18 years of relevant experience is essential. You will lead site engineers, subcontractors, and construction crews, maintain HSE standards, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Site construction management experience handling complex activities, teams, and schedules.
• Mechanical construction expertise for installation and site execution.
• Construction planning translating schedules into on-site plans.
• HSE compliance ensuring safe practices on site.
• Quality control to meet drawings, specs and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
• Plan and coordinate mechanical construction activities according to approved drawings, schedules, and project requirements.
• Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and construction teams to achieve project milestones.
• Monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions to address schedule deviations.
• Ensure site activities comply with approved quality standards, specifications, and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, subcontractor, and client teams for smooth project execution.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, work schedules, and site requirements before execution.
• Prepare and communicate construction progress, resource requirements, site constraints, and completion status to project stakeholders.
