Job summary

Client of Hudson Manpower in Qatar seeks an experienced Site Manager Mechanical to oversee site erection piping installation and related construction activities for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Refinery projects. The role requires strong leadership and a track record of delivering complex mechanical construction projects on time.

You will manage day-to-day site activities, coordinate with contractors and engineering teams, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and schedules.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15-20 years of relevant experience in mechanical construction and site management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise site erection piping and mechanical installation activities.
• Plan and monitor daily site activities to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, engineering teams, and clients.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project schedules.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, materials and site resources.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and project requirements.
• Review and resolve site technical and construction issues.
• Monitor progress and prepare daily/weekly site reports.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure smooth execution of project activities.
• Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress updates to project management.
• Ensure proper inspection, testing and documentation of completed works.
• Support commissioning, pre-commissioning and project handover activities as required.

• Monitor manpower equipment materials and site resources.
• Ensure compliance with HSE quality and project requirements.
• Review and resolve site technical and construction issues.
• Monitor progress and prepare daily weekly site reports.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure smooth execution of project activities.
• Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress updates to project management.
• Ensure proper inspection testing and documentation of completed works.
• Support commissioning pre-commissioning and project handover activities as required.

Required Experience & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering .
• 15 20 years of relevant experience in mechanical construction/site management.
• Strong experience in site erection and piping works .
• Must have experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and/or Refinery projects .
• Strong knowledge of mechanical construction and piping activities.
• Good understanding of project schedules, drawings, specifications, and construction procedures.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple site activities and teams effectively.
• Qatar/GCC experience is preferred.
