Job summary

Qatar National Bank is seeking an experienced professional to manage collections for a Retail NPL portfolio in Doha. The role involves restructuring, coordinating with Legal and external debt collectors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to minimize bank losses.

The incumbent will supervise the Retail Collection Unit, monitor progress of delinquent accounts, and implement effective collection strategies across all risk categories with a focus on recovery and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferably with a Major in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology.
At least 8 years of relevant experience in Retail or Corporate risk, preferably in a bank or financial services setting.

Responsibilities

Implement overdue loans collections strategy to minimize losses.
Analyze Retail NPL portfolio to identify trends and reduce bucket‑wise arrears.
Update policies to meet market needs and improve processes.
Develop remedial/restructure strategies and obtain approvals within authorities.
Coordinate with Legal, external collectors and police for enforcement if needed.
Monitor and report on Retail NPL portfolios and collection status.
