Job summary

Maseera is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to oversee strategic planning, execution, and control of all project logistics activities for EPC oil and gas projects. You will ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment, coordinating international freight, warehousing, and site logistics.

The role requires leading logistics teams, collaborating with Procurement, Engineering, Construction, and Project Controls, and ensuring compliance with IMDG/IATA and Incoterms

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CLTD, PMP, FIATA, IMDG, or heavy-lift/project cargo certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop logistics strategies aligned with project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
• Lead and develop logistics, warehouse, and materials management teams.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Expediting, Engineering, Construction, and Project Controls teams.
• Manage heavy-lift, out-of-gauge (OOG), breakbulk, charter vessel, airfreight, and project cargo operations.
• Review route surveys, lifting studies, transport engineering, and method statements.
• Obtain transport permits, escort arrangements, and customs approvals.
• Manage warehouses, pipe yards, preservation programs, inventory, and material issuance.
• Oversee HAZMAT handling in compliance with IMDG, IATA, and applicable regulations.
• Manage 3PLs (Third-Party Logistics Providers), freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping agents.
• Liaise with ports, shipping lines, airlines, and regulatory authorities.
• Negotiate transport contracts and logistics service agreements.
• Manage project logistics budgets, cost forecasting, and cost reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms 2020, customs regulations, and import/export controls.
• Develop logistics dashboards and KPI reporting through SAP/ERP systems.
• Drive HSE excellence and risk mitigation plans for critical shipments.
• Provide logistics input to project schedules, progress reports, and senior management updates.
