Job summary

Arab Solutions seeks an IT Security Specialist with 10+ years of experience to lead security initiatives in Qatar onsite.

Responsibilities include investigating breaches, defining access rights, conducting risk and vulnerability assessments, and ensuring adherence to information security policies. The role supports incident response, forensics where appropriate, and integration of security controls within system architectures for a 1-year renewable contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 10+ years Information Security experience ideally in energy/oil & gas sectors.
• Knowledge of national and international information security standards.

Responsibilities

• Investigates security breaches and recommends actions per established procedures.
• Defines access rights and administers physical and logical access controls.
• Performs security control reviews and risk assessments for information systems.
• Conducts business risk analyses and impact assessments for medium complexity systems.
• Ensures compliance with information security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Reviews network usage and advises on policy breaches and privileges.
• Provides guidance on security controls and communicates risk effectively.
• Investigates incidents and coordinates resolution and lessons learned.
• Delivers security components within system architectures.
