Job summary

University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) seeks a senior IT infrastructure leader to manage the enterprise server and cloud platforms in Doha. You will drive design, implementation, and operations for Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, storage, backup, and AI-ready HPC resources across on-premises and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field is required.
• Desirable certifications in Microsoft - MCSE, RHCE, CCNP, VMware and Azure.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in IT or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in System Administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the server infrastructure team in maintenance, configuration and operation of enterprise Windows and Linux servers.
• Lead administration of enterprise Microsoft infrastructure including Windows Server, AD, M365, identity, messaging.
• Plan and design HPC and GPU infrastructure for AI workloads across on-prem and cloud.
• Manage hybrid-cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Oversee backup, recovery and disaster recovery solutions and testing.
