Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field is required.
• Certifications in MCSE, RHCE, CCNP, VMware and Azure are desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in System Administration.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the server infrastructure team in maintenance, configuration and operation of enterprise Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, storage, backup and cloud infra.
• Oversee administration of Windows Server, AD, M365, identity, messaging, virtualization, endpoint management, monitoring and security tech.
• Design and plan HPC and GPU-accelerated infra for academic, research and AI workloads across on-prem and cloud.
• Drive adoption of enterprise AI platforms across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Manage virtualization and VDI platforms, compute and storage infra, ensuring availability and performance.
• Oversee backup, DR solutions and testing; ensure service recoverability.
• Coordinate hybrid-cloud infra across Azure and GCP; manage security hardening with teams.
• Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, technology refreshes and lifecycle activities.
• Develop automation with PowerShell and other tools; maintain docs and diagrams.
