Job summary

Trades App seeks a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations in Qatar. You will supervise staff, plan schedules, and conduct inspections to maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards.

The role requires strong leadership, training abilities, and a focus on safety and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in housekeeping with 2+ years in supervision, practical knowledge of inventory management, and proficiency with housekeeping reporting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant certification is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of housekeeping experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning methods and safety practices.
• Good leadership, communication and team management skills.
• Ability to train and motivate staff to achieve targets.
• Proficient in inventory management and housekeeping documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with housekeeping reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities.
• Assign duties and work schedules for efficient operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, facilities and common areas.
• Train, coach and monitor housekeeping staff for quality performance.
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues and coordinate with departments for timely resolution.
• Maintain attendance, inspections, inventory and activity records.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health & safety regulations.
• Address customer concerns and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance service quality and efficiency.
