Job summary

Our Doha-based team is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead backend development using Go, Redis, Docker, and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS). You will design scalable APIs and distributed systems, work with Next.js/React/TypeScript on full-stack aspects, and collaborate across disciplines in a hybrid, full-time role in Doha.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in software engineering, strong production experience, and fluent Arabic and English communication.

Job description

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 6+ years of hands-on Go backend development
• Strong experience building scalable, reliable, production-grade backend systems
• Strong Next.js / React / TypeScript experience
• Strong experience with Redis
• Production experience with Docker
• Strong cloud experience across GCP and/or AWS
• Experience designing secure, scalable APIs and distributed systems
• Experience taking systems from development through deployment and maintenance
• Strong understanding of testing, observability, performance, security, and production operations
• Fluent Arabic communication skills are required for this role
• Strong English communication skills
• Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment

Location & Working Arrangement

Doha, Qatar

Full-time, hybrid position

Remote work is available as part of the hybrid arrangement

Candidates must be able to attend our Doha office when required
