Job summary

Confidential Government Entity in Qatar is seeking a Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to lead financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and business partnering across the organization. The role targets ambitious professionals with 6–12+ years of accounting experience who can drive IFRS compliance, financial governance, and strategic decision-making in a large corporate or government setting.

Fluency in English is essential, Arabic proficiency is an advantage, and professional qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA/ACCA/CMA/CA or equivalent preferred.
• 6–12+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Experience with IFRS and internal controls is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and internal controls.
• Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Support audits and stakeholder relationships.
• Provide financial insights for business decisions.
• Lead process improvements and governance practices.
• Mentor finance team members.
