Senior Environmental Consultant

Do you have extensive experience in environmental baseline assessments and environmental monitoring onshore and offshore? If so, we invite you to join our Qatar Environment Team as a Senior Environmental Consultant.


This role involves:


  • Leading the preparation and review of technical reports for marine environmental baseline and monitoring studies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international regulations and standards.
  • Conducting comprehensive onshore and offshore baseline surveys, analyzing data, and proposing effective mitigation measures for potential environmental impacts.
  • Interpreting and applying relevant environmental regulations, engaging with clients and stakeholders to address concerns and ensure compliance.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs, and providing technical solutions aligned with their objectives, including liaising and communicating effectively with key client representatives to manage project delivery as a Project Manager.
  • Demonstrating thorough technical understanding and implementation of environmental services, effectively presenting complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Leading and managing project teams and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes in the role of Project Manager.

What you will bring to the team:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in an international environmental consultancy, preferably with experience in the Middle East and oil and gas projects.
  • Proven track record in planning, coordinating, budgeting, invoicing, and managing environmental projects, including marine/offshore surveys in the Gulf region.
  • Deep knowledge of local and international environmental regulations, standards, and industry best practices relevant to the Gulf region and oil and gas sector.
  • Exceptional technical writing skills, especially in environmental reports, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Experience in presenting technical information effectively to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
