Snoonu in Qatar is seeking a technically-minded ETL engineer to help manage and develop our data infrastructure. The role covers batch ETL, real-time pipelines, data lakes and warehouses, with focus on scaling as the company grows and on infrastructure-as-code tools.

You should bring strong programming and SQL skills, PySpark or distributed systems experience, and familiarity with cloud platforms. We value engineers who own data processes end-to-end and continuously improve performance.

Qualifikationen

• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines.
• Strong SQL including window functions and CTEs.
• Experience with batch ETL and real-time data pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Knowledge of distributed systems (PySpark).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling.

Aufgaben

• Integrate new data sources using existing batch ETL system.
• Create real-time pipelines using an IaC approach.
• Assist teams in extracting data from the warehouse and supporting reverse ETL.
• Participate in data management process improvements.
• Automate processes and optimize pipeline performance.
• Lead long-term improvement, refactoring, and cost-reduction investigations.
