Job summary

Qataryello is seeking a senior compliance lead to manage the function independently within a global commodities trading business. You will provide practical compliance guidance across trading, procurement, finance and operational teams, and identify and assess compliance and business risks.

Develop and implement effective controls, support international trading activities, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders while offering proactive compliance advice across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven compliance experience within a commodity trading house, agribusiness, energy trading, shipping or a similar international trading environment.
• Strong understanding of corporate compliance, business risk, third-party risk and commercial operations.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and make sound compliance decisions without constant supervision.
• Experience supporting trading activities, including exposure to hedging, physical trading or related commercial operations.
• Additional language skills such as Arabic, Portuguese or French are advantageous, although strong English speakers will also be considered.
